Michel, Claude
(12/20/1738 Nancy-3/28/1814 Paris) (France); aka Clodion
   Sculptor. Trained by his uncle Adam Lambert-Sigisbert and studied at the Ecole Royale des Eleves Proteges. Glenn Benge describes him as "the greatest master of lyrical, small-scale sculpture active in France in the later 18th century."
